Hello, We have a Sharp XE-A507 for the life of us we can't figure out how to ask it to accept a gift certificate?? Any advice most appreciated. Thanks, your articles are super.
Patty, I'm sorry I don't support XE models. If this were a SAM4s cash register I would probably set up a payment button as a gift Cert/Card redeemed payment. That way you can ring in the sale like normal and just pay with a gift card. If you want the card interfaced like we do with some of the SAM4s cash registers I do not think an XE-507 can do that. A SAM4s with credit card interface can process a gift card directly, which is the more ideal set up.
