Getting your SAM4s cash register EMV ready

Do you gave your SAM4s cash register interfaced with credit card payments directly? If so will you be making your register compliant with the new EMV standards for taking the new credit cards with chips in them?

If you are you have probably already noticed a lot of confusion and wrong information. So I hope I can clear some of that up for you. Let's go over the good news first. Yes the new Datacap devices are EMV ready, the Pin Pads are already available. The bad news is that SAM4s has not completed the new ROM versions that are reading the EMV chips. They are working on it and hope to be completed in the next couple months.

In the mean while you can proceed with the rest of your upgrade. We can help you with the new EMV ready Datacap and the Pin Pad. Does your POS system accept Apple Pay? Ours does
